This paper will assess the key drivers affecting the future for lead, including several exciting opportunities, and outline the role industry must play in order to fulfill its contribution to a sustainable transition to climate neutrality.

Andy Bush became Managing Director of ILA in 2011. Since then, he has led the global restructuring of several lead industry organisations, including the creation of the Consortium for Battery Innovation, coordinating strategies to promote and protect the interests of the lead industry worldwide. He joined the ILA in 1997.
