Vijay Kumar Pareek has more than 30 years’ distinguished experience working with Indian companies including Grasim Industries Limited, Larsen & Toubro Limited, Aditya Birla Group and Gravita. In this time Vijay’s assignments have been spread over the power, non-ferrous metal and engineering sectors. His core competencies include formulating business strategies, planning and budgeting, financial analysis, market analysis and merger and acquisitions.
Vijay is an engineering graduate (Gold Medallist in Metallurgy faculty) and also holds a Diploma in Business Finance and an MBA.
Presently Vijay is Executive Director of Gravita India Ltd and head for the company’s global business. Gravita, which was established in 1992, stands as the world’s leading material recycling company. Gravita’s commitment to sustainability and the circular economy is at the core of everything they do. Since the company’s inception, they have been devoted to minimizing waste and maximizing resource efficiency. Gravita’s dedication to environmental stewardship has driven them to pioneer advancements in recycling practices that align seamlessly with the principles of the circular economy.
Vijay is a regular speaker and participant at various international conferences associated with Lead recycling.
